Zoom
The Zoom interface will provide a view of the instructor’s webcam and screen. You are also welcome to turn on your webcam, but this is not required. For troubleshooting, you may share your screen with the instructor by clicking the Share Screen button at the bottom of the Zoom window. You can communicate through audio and chat, whichever you prefer.
Monitors
The class will be very hands-on and you will follow along with the instructor with a class project. A 2-monitor setup is ideal for this so you can see the instructor on one screen, and follow along on the other. If you don’t have 2 monitors, you can also use an iPad or tablet as a second monitor. If you just have a single monitor you can certainly get by, and will switch between Zoom and Premiere Pro throughout the class.
Software
Ideally you should have the latest version of the software which is Adobe Premiere Pro 2020 (Version 14). But any recent Creative Cloud version will work fine.
